Walk Eat London grew out of a simple idea: that the best way to understand a place is to eat it. Our tours and cooking classes aren’t just about food, though there’s plenty of that (10 to 15 tastings on every walk). They’re about the stories behind the food — the history, the characters, the quirks that make London unlike anywhere else on earth.
Who we are
We’re a small, independent team of Londoners. Every tour is led by a real local — someone who lives here, loves it here, and knows it the way only locals do. Our group sizes are intentionally small (never more than 8–10 guests) because we believe a good tour should feel like time well spent with a knowledgeable friend, not a lecture.
Our guests
Most of the people who join our tours visit from the United States, Canada and beyond. Over the years, we’ve hosted guests from New York, California, Texas, the Midwest, and everywhere in between. We’ve done birthday tours, three-generation family tours, and reunion trips for old college friends.
