Private Food Tours

A private food tour built entirely around your group.

Sometimes you want the full Walk Eat London experience — but you want it to be yours. A private tour means your guide’s complete attention, a pace that suits your group, and an itinerary shaped around what you actually love. No strangers. No compromises.

Who books private tours?

  • Families visiting London together — grandparents, parents, teenagers, all in one group
  • Groups of friends celebrating a milestone birthday, anniversary or reunion trip
  • Couples who’d rather have a guide to themselves
  • Larger parties of 12+ who want to tour together without splitting up
  • Travellers with specific interests — history, architecture, cocktails, cheese, film locations — who want a tour built around that passion

What’s included

  • Your choice of neighbourhood: Borough Market, the West End, the City of London, Camden, the East End, or a combination
  • 10–15 food and drink tastings, sourced from the best independent vendors in your chosen area
  • A local expert guide who knows the area’s history, hidden corners, and best-kept secrets
  • Complete flexibility — if your pace is slower, we slow down; if someone wants to spend longer at a stop, we linger
  • Dietary requirements accommodated as standard — just let us know when you enquire

Practical details

  • Minimum group: 1 person (yes, really — we’re happy to take solo visitors on a private tour)
  • Maximum group: we can accommodate larger parties; just get in touch and we’ll plan accordingly
  • Duration: typically 3–4 hours, but flexible
  • Pricing: contact us for a quote — private tours are priced per group, not per person
  • Booking window: we recommend enquiring at least 2 weeks in advance, though we’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests

A note for visitors from the United States & Canada

We’ve hosted private tours for visitors from every corner of the US — New York, LA, Chicago, Texas, the South. We know what makes a London experience land well for American travellers, and we’ll make sure yours does too. If you’d like advice on where to stay, how to get around, or how to sequence your London days, just ask — that’s part of what we’re here for.
